Explanation of Future Development of Automotive Manufacturin

Tianjin International Automotive Manufacturing Technology & Equipment Exhibition (hereinafter, CAME) sponsored by Tianjin Zhenwei Exhibition Co., Ltd. will be held on March 15-18, 2018 at Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center.

On Oct. 18, 2017, the 19th National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China opened in the Great Hall of the People. President Xi Jinping, on the behalf of the 18th CPC Central Committee, presented the work report. The whole course of reporting lasted 210 minutes during which President Xi stood at his feet without any rest and uttered more than 32,440 words totally.

Several points mentioned in the report are significant to guide the development of China’s automotive manufacturing.

The report supported the upgrading of traditional industries. Representing traditional manufacturing in China at present, the automotive industry is at a critical period of transformation & upgrading, overcapacity cutting. China’s economy has shifted from the high-speed growth stage to the high-quality development one and is at a key problems-tackling period of changing the development mode, optimizing the economic structure and switching growth impetus.

To build a modern economic system, the economic development focus must be put on the real economy and improvements in the supply system must be taken as the lead. China shall support the upgrading and optimization of traditional industries, insist on cutting overcapacity, destocking, deleveraging, lowering cost and improving weak links, optimize the allocation of stock resources, expand the high-quality incremental supply, and realize the dynamic balance between demand and supply.

The report emphasized deepening the reform of the investment and financing system and playing the key role of investment in optimizing the supply structure. China shall deepen the reform of the financial system, enhance financial services in the real economy, improve the proportion of direct financing, and promote the sound development of the multilevel capital market.

Automotive manufacturing is a fund-intensive industry. Financing has been always the major problem facing enterprises during their development, and so is the case with private enterprises.

The “Belt and Road Initiative” Construction is the key. By virtue of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, China’s automotive enterprises have achieved amazing results in the process of “going out”. In 2016, 810,000 full vehicles were exported, seeing year-on-year growth of 7.2%.

According to the report, China shall make efforts in the following respects,

Ø  Focusing on the “Belt and Road Initiative” Construction

Ø  Sticking to attaching equal importance to “bringing in” and “going out”

Ø  Abiding by the principle of joint negotiation, construction and sharing

Ø  Strengthening innovation in opening-up and cooperation

Ø  Forming an opening pattern of making land and sea interact with each other internally & externally and the east and the west benefit from each other

Ø  Expanding foreign trade

Ø  Cultivating the new trade model

Ø  Promoting the great trade power’s construction

Ø  Innovating the foreign investment mode

Ø  Facilitating production capacity cooperation among international community

Ø  Forming the trade, investment & financing, production and service network facing the world

Ø  Accelerating the cultivation of international economic cooperation and new competition advantages

Countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” are expected to be important areas where China’s automotive manufacturing will be exported and invested.

Based on the automotive manufacturing in the north of China, radiating North China and Northeastern China, and facing the demands for purchasing manufacturing equipment of over 10 full vehicle brands like the Great Wall, Chablis, Hyundai, FAW, VW, BAIC, etc. and nearly 1,000 supporting parts enterprises, CAME will show new technologies and products in the whole industrial chain of automotive manufacturing. CAME will adhere to the national macro-policy closely and pay continuous attention to the automotive manufacturing and industrial development trends, so as to build a high-quality platform for exhibitors, thus jointly creating the largest automotive equipment exhibition in the north of China.
